The last 5 months have been a big transition for me. During the last two months of 2018 my husband declined and passed away after a long journey with Parkinson’s. The first 3 months of 2019 have been a time to deal with paperwork, adjust to a quiet house, and to look inward.
Looking inward has prompted me to take a 4-month sabbatical from my EFT practice — May through August. I use the word “sabbatical” intentionally. Even though it often refers to a paid leave from university responsibilities, it can also mean any extended period of leave from one’s customary work, especially for rest, to require new skills or training, etc.
I’m resting from responsibilities. I love seeing clients and teaching students about EFT. It is important and rewarding work! However, I need rest now.
So, now you know why you have not heard from me recently and why you won’t be hearing from me again for awhile. In the meantime, I sincerely wish for you what I wish for myself: a nourishing spring and a fun-filled summer!
